Vacant | LTL Account Manager
As an LTL (Less Than Truckload) Account Manager in the trucking industry, your primary responsibility will be to manage and grow a portfolio of clients. You will coordinate shipments, negotiate rates, and ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service. This role requires strong analytical skills to monitor and optimize logistics operations, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, address any issues, and ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be crucial in achieving success in this role.
Responsibilities:

The LTL Account Manager communicates daily with customers carriers to ensure all shipments are traced, and updated within internal TMS in a timely fashion.

In addition to working closely with the members of operations team and customers – LTL Account Manager will work in various web- based systems to monitor and resolve customer-related service issues

Provide excellent support to our LTL customers; serves as a liaison between carrier andcustomer

Conduct business reviews with LTL customers

Escalates and assists team members with order issues as required, including but not limited to missed pickups/deliveries, delivery exceptions and OS&D

Organize and consolidate workload to complete efficiently and effectively

Identifies and owns carrier invoice audit; resolves shipment and billing issues with carriers, follows through to resolution
